Lloyd McGill is MOM-Approved Workplace Safety and Health Auditing Organisation (WSHAO) to provide various audits to comply both mandatory and non-mandatory requirements. Our auditors are MOM-Approved auditors with more than 10 years industrial and field experiences as Safety personnel. We only conduct auditing services within Singapore.

Policy and Conflict of Interest

We are committed to ensuring impartiality in all auditing activities undertaken by its auditors and shall not allow commercial, financial and other pressures to compromise impartiality.

Conflicts arising from internal and external relationships which may be related to the scope of audit shall be considered:

  • We do not audit organization that we had provided Management System consultancy and/or internal audit for the past two years. All subcontracted personnel are required to agree to and sign a conflict of interest and confidentiality agreement.
  • We do not outsource audits to any organization that provides providing management system consultancy.
  • We do not market or offer auditing activities by stating that auditing would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if a specified consulting company were used.
  • We do not use auditors who have been involved in Management System consultancy of the client within the stipulated time frame.
  • Our auditors are expected to adhere to procedures/policies set by the Company for the conduct of the audits.
  • We will ensure that all personnel in LLOYD MCGILL who could influence auditing activities, either internal or external have to act impartially.
  • We shall not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
  • We will act promptly to respond to any threats to its impartiality arising from actions of other persons or organizations.

Audit Methodology

Testimony of Audit

Upon request on completion of a satisfactory audit, LLOYD MCGILL may supply auditee with a uniquely identifiable testimony of the audit conducted. This includes the name and geographical location of each audited client, the date of the audit conducted, the scope and/or normative documents used for audit of the client, the scope of audit, the name, address and mark of LLOYD MCGILL and any other information required by the standard and/or normative document used for audit.

Mark & Logo

LLOYD MCGILL shall enforce legally arrangements which required the audited client not to:

  • use or permit to use of LLOYD MCGILL’s audit report / testimony / LLOYD MCGILL’s mark in communication media such as the Internet, brochures or advertising, or other documents;
  • make or permit any misleading statement regarding the audit;
  • use or permit the use of an audit report or testimony or any part thereof in a misleading manner.

LLOYD MCGILL is responsible for all decisions at all levels of the complaints-handling process and there are no discriminatory actions against the complaint. Complaints against LLOYD MCGILL’s clients and complaints against LLOYD MCGILL are subject to a formal process conducted by personnel who are independent of the activity.
